In 2023, the music series will continue to shape the future of the city’s downtown and riverfront while fostering a stronger and more connected community, inspiring meaningful shared arts experiences in downtown Stevens Point and throughout Central Wisconsin. In 2021, the Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series has presented 7 free, family-friendly concerts to the public this summer at The Change Companies stage at the Brewery Arts Center and two flatbed truck concerts that brought free live music through Carson City neighborhoods and will now finish the season with Mumbo Gumbo on Sept. Sponsored in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a national funder of creative placemaking that empowers communities to inject new life into underused public spaces through free, outdoor concerts, the Brewery Arts Center will present 10 free, family-friendly concerts. Home to over 25,000 people, the Levitt AMP Music Series has presented a broad array of artists, and the Levitt AMP lawn has become a vibrant platform for emerging businesses and entrepreneurs to showcase their services. Levitt AMP Ocala, which kicked off its series with an April 14 show featuring Veronica Lewis, will celebrate Black Music Month throughout June, with each concert featuring a Black artist, and will host a Juneteenth Celebration featuring Afro-Cuban artist Yusa. The Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series presented by The Change Companies returns this summer for its fifth season kicking things off Saturday, July 10 and running every Saturday through Aug.
